We were at Dreams from Nov 11-18, had a great time. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Do you need a converter for electronic devices? Do you know how the dolphin experience is at the resort? Thank you.
Hola Visitor100Gurnee_IL & Welcome to the forums!
Can't answer your question about the "Dolphin Experience" as I've never stayed at the Dreams, we always stay next door at the Catalonia...
However I CAN tell you they run the same 110V electrical as N. America so no convertors required. You may however want to bring a GOOD surge protector / power bar to help protect your electronics from "Surges & Brownouts" as they do experience those down there on a regular basis...
Hope this helps...

We did the Royal Swim with the dolphins and had a great experience. I was concerned it would be booked up with the promotion going on (kids swim free with paying adult) but we were the only ones we saw all week. It was really good, not rushed at all, great experience for my family of five. Photos were expensive but our photographer did such a great job it took a bit of the sting out lol...
Ran all of our electrical devices with no converter needed.
Edited: 2:48 pm, November 26, 2012Yes! I have a few questions :)
1) Does the resort give straws with drinks? Or do they have a ban on straws like some other resorts in the area?
2) Do you know anything about the "loft" rooms?
3) Did you need to put your room key in the slot to turn/keep the lights and A/C running?
4) Are the dolphins at the resort different from the dolphins at the marina? I have been to the dolphins at the marina while staying at the CAT but Dreams claims "they have dolphins too" are these the same? I am confused.
5) How busy was the beach? Do you think "reserving seats" is necessary?
6) are there gift shops at this resort?
Thanks in advance!!
Last time we were there they did use straws. Sorry, haven't heard of the loft rooms. Didn't have to do anything special to keep the air running except keep the sliding door closed. Dolphins are new and different than those at the Marina. Dreams have their own behind the resort in the canal. There is a gift shop there.
Do they use room keys or card passes?
card passes
What's the beach like? Sand and water quality/clarity?
Water is very clear and the sand is semi soft with a few crunched up shells.
Any decent entertainment in the evenings?
