RHC/Park Royal Villas

My husband and I are thinking of going to Ixtapa next May. Has anyone heard of the Park Royal Villas? This is one of the hotels we can stay at thorugh our time share. It appears to be right on the beach which is what we prefer. We have been to Maz, PV & Acapulco but Ixtapa sounds lovely and maybe not so touristy?

The Park Royal Villa's are located on the beach in Ixtapa. There are two buildings three stories high. No elevators so you may want to request a room one floor up so you do not have so many stairs to climb. They have their own pool with a swim-up bar for the Villa's but you may use all the amenities that the Barcelo Resort has. Several restaurants, pools, work-out room, etc.

Nice place, well kept , clean and the staff is so frinedly and nice.

Enjoy your trip!!

The Villa's are located in the Barcelo Beach Resort grounds. As other reviewers it is a smaller condo facility and has no elevators. You do have the option to do the all inclusive at the Barcelo for $60 a day per person. The Barcelo has all of the amenities you need with paying very much for it. Enjoy T&J-Wisconsin

And they might not be in operation next May. They will be redoing the current Radisson property which Park Royal has purchased...and then will remodel that property...and will move all the timeshare people to that new property while they tear down the current Villas and build a tall new complex. Not sure when this will be done...but just so you know you might not be where you think you will be in May!!
