We always stay in a condo so we bring and ice chest with milk, eggs, cheese, lunchmeat, etc and bring a duffle bag with canned foods and crackers, snacks etc. We usually stay for 2 weeks so bringing food helps keep the cost of our vacation down by fixing some of our meals and sandwhiches etc by the pool. Also, the ice chest is handy to bring back the fish that we catch while fishing. In the 12 years we have been going to cabo, we have never had a problem. You must make sure ice is in bags...not loose so that if the ice chest leaks, it will not make a mess. We just load the ice chest up with frozen water bottles to keep things cold and then drink the water when we get there.
