Dinner Reservations..are they necessary?

We will be in Cabo Feb 9-16. We already have Valentines Day dinner reservations at El Farallon and at Hacienda de Cucina for my husbands birthday. We are also planning on Maca & Cascadas Beach Grill (haven't decided on the remaining 3 nights, suggestions welcome). Are reservations necessary ? We typically like to eat around 7:30/8:00ish but also like to just go with the flow since we're on vacation!

From your nice choices of restaurants I think you will enjoy Puerta Vieja restaurant www.puertavieja.com/ and perhaps even the lovely view and Telescope at Sunset Da Mona Lisa www.sunsetmonalisa.com

The only place we ever get a reservation is the Hacienda Cocina y Cantina. You will be just fine walking in anywhere that time of he year.

Thanks for the suggestions..They both sound great! Are they walkable from Grand Solmar?

Rocky's suggestions are a taxi ride to the corridor.

Corazon de Alcachofa is a block away from Casa Dorada. "Artichoke"

Sounds like a really yummy place!!! Would take 25 minutes or so to walk:)

Thanks billsgal. Puerta Vieja sounds really good.. How much approx do you think a taxi would cost / how long would it take to get there? We will take a cab to Corazon de Alcachofa..sounds good and I'm sure a fairly quick ride.

Puerta Vieja and the Sunset Da Mona Lisa are near each other only about 3 miles from Grand Solmar (Maybe $12/$15 Taxi ride).

We have eaten at Hacienda Cocina y Cantina before 7 in Feb and never needed a reservation. Great place, and reasonable prices. Call them and ask to be sure. Be there for the sunset, which is earlier than 7.
