I'm getting worried!! Though we booked through an owner on VRBO and got a much better deal had we booked through the hotel directly. I have contacted the hotel a few times via email with questions and the customer service has been very good so that is somewhat encouraging.

I am curious which building you were in? Also, did your unit have an oven?

I just took a look back at the reviews..There were a couple of scathing ones from early December that are now gone. That is VERY concerning to me if they are removing the really bad reviews. That is NOT what Trip Advisor is about. I guess we will know for ourselves in a little over a month!

Nybeachlover I've been watching reviews daily for that very reason not happy about this site pulling reviews. But if u can get on site ad see if any new ones posted my only concern is they may start not posting any negatives ones

So far it seems things are a little better from a few posts I've seen. I really want this to be a stellar resort as it was. It's a shame. We can only hope all we ok when we are there.

Rose, I'm cautiously optimistic! As long as we have hot water and jackhammers don't wake me up at 6 am or disturb our mojo at the adults only pool, I'm good. I think I go before you so I'll update you when we get back (or from there, if wifi is good)

The noise, which is minimal, will not start until 7, so turn up the fan on your AC and you will be fine. You likely will not be bothered at all in your sleep.
