For our honeymoon in May 2005 we are looking at staying at the Beach house in Barbuda for five days and then at Carlisle Bay for four.

Has anyone stayed at either of these properties before...

We were planning on going to Cap Juluca. However, with the Today Show and the hight ratings, we feel like to world will be there. Honeymoon mecca - not our style.

My fiancee and I are heading down to Barbuda for a two day "inspection" visit to make sure that everything is as it seems at The Beach House. We leave on December 10 and return on December 14.

We are going to just stay the night on Antigua (at Siboney Beach Club) and then catch the early morning flight. There are actually quite a few reasonably priced places to stay on the water during your "layover."

I am anxious to read any reviews before we leave!

I haven't been able to find anyone that has stayed there, yet.

Therefore, I will be waiting (anxiously) to hear what you have to say when you get back...

Thanks. There is a review in the forums under the heading "Transportation to Barbuda." The person just got back a few days ago. Check out the most recent post for the review. We leave next Friday and when I get back, I will post my thoughts.
