Should be great - if the past is any predicter of the future.

We have been to Tulum in mid-January for each of the past four years. We spend all day, every day on the beach except when it rains. So far, we have been rained out one day in.

Days have been pleasant in the shade, hot in the sun. Evenings are mild. My wife brings a sweater to cover her shoulders in the evenings. Sometimes she needs it, sometimes not. Evenings I always wear just slacks and sport shirt.

We will be returning again this January and keeping our fingers crossed that our luck holds.

I just got back last week from a great tour of Dreams Tulum! I have several photoshows with both music and captins that I would be happy to share with anyone interested and plenty of pics too.

It was a phenomenal property and I willbbe going back in April to celebrate my 60th birthday!

Dec 17 - 21. Any particular room I should request?

As close to the beach as possible. I forget what the rooms are called, but they are specified seaview or beachfront.

My wife & I decided that we desperately needed some R&R in the sun & just booked a Christmas trip to Dreams Tulum (Dec. 23 -28). Is the general consensus that the construction will be done by then or did we make a mistake???

Also, should be book a transfer to the hotel from the airport in Cancun in advance or just negotiate w/ a cab driver when we get there. Thanks much for any info.

Thinking of staying at Dreams Tulum in April 07. I've read some (very few but harsh) bad reviews. All in all this seems to be the BEST all-inclusive for the money for what I'm looking for. I don't want to have to make reservations for dinner or only be able to eat at the A la carte rest. once or twice during a 7 day stay. Any more info that you guys could give me on this place to make my final decision?

My guy is already sold on hanging out at the ruins. I must have a beach....and hopefully beach drink/food service. We are really looking for "luxury" on a budget as far a rooms go though...seems that most of the "bad" reviews have to do w/ the rooms.

I read about construction - whats that all about? when will it be done?
