Somewhere nearby. We are travelling with two 17 year olds and we're staying in the 2 bedroom cabana at La conchitas for the first 4 nights. Unfortunately it is booked for the next 3.

Does any one know of a similar resort w/a 2 bedroom situation in this area? How far away is Tita tulum? (our second choice) We've stayed at ana y jose's but not for a long time and it sounds like things are different now, especially w/respect to the restaurant.

Any recommendations for another double cabana would be much appreciated. Otherwise we will probably end up getting 2 seperate cabanas which is almost twice as much as the double cabana in most places.

Thanks!

I think Nueva Vida has 2 bedroom rooms. Have you looked at them?

It looks beautiful! Is it a little far from restaurants and such though? it says it's 15 minutes from tulum village.

Boy, I sure am glad I booked la conchita today! I thought there was plenty of time.

Thanks for your response. Maybe it would be good to be in a little bit of a different spot for the second half of our trip. It looks like the beach is different than the one at La conchita, Is that right?

What about Tierras del sol? On their website bungalows are $85 each and it says they will give a special rate for renting more than one. Nueva Vida is $210/night for the 2 bedroom so getting 2 at tierras del sol might be a little cheaper. Is it near Nueva Vida? Does anyone (especially pepper!) know anything about this place?

the reviews sound great.

On this map, you can see what's next to what. Tierras del Sol is just about the last property before the Sian Kaan gate. Dos Ceibas is close for meals; TdS also has a restaurant. Nueva Vida is up the road a bit and has Casa Banana (located across the road in the jungle) for meals.

When figuring out who has the best deal...I like to know if a full breakfast is included as well as taxes and bottled water (some hotels have a water dispenser). Those things can really add up!! You'll have all of them included at La Conchita.

TdS and NV have great beaches that look like this:

La Conchita's is here:
