Hello everyone!!

We are getting ready to pack for our trip this Saturday and I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the dress codes are at the different restaurants. I think men have to wear long pants and shirts with sleeves, (do they mean long sleeves)? Do men have to wear close toe shoes or can they wear sandals? And I'm not quite sure what the dress code is for women.

Any help would be great!

Hey Garrip, have a wonderful holiday, you are going to have a blast!

As for the dress code, men do have to wear long pants in the ala cartes and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops). In the buffet (for dinner) men can wear shorts, but again no tank tops, tee's will be fine. As a matter of fact my hubby actually work a tee to an ala carte with long pants and sandals (no flip flops). No problem there, just no shorts or tank tops. As for breakfast and lunch, tank tops and flip flops are allowed. It's just the dinner hour. But hey, we all clean up good in the evening (hehehehe).

Again, have a wonderful holiday and can't wait to hear all about it on your return. Try and get over to the Coba side and check it out. We are headed back next April (ohhhhh so long to go).

Just got back after our fourth visit. Women can wear pretty much what ever they want except swim wear and as stated before, long pants for men in the a la cartes.

Thanks!

The only thing I'm not sure about is the shoes... he only has flip flops, unless he brings some king of dress shoe. Do you think they will let him him in with flip flops? And do jeans count as long pants?

Flip flops will work, but the a la cartes are nice and i would rather put on shoes. Jeans are also ok, but with the heat, i would rather not wear them.

Hey Skier, how was it?

As for the jean issue, it is a hit and miss, sometimes they let you in, sometimes they don't. I would pack a pair of chinos and, if hubby doesn't have sandals, then a pair of shoes would be better. I would have to assume flip flops (I am talking the rubber type) would not be acceptable. Again, it would probably be a hit and miss.
