I booked the BPT for the end of Jan.

We have stayed at RIU Playacar and the Palladium but have done the Punta Cana/La Romana the past three years.

Any advice or suggestions. We utilized the collectivos and gone to Playa . I was just curious also if the pool water will be very cool that time of year? I am more a beach person but occasionally like to relax at the pool. I hope I made a good choice.

I've heard that many consider the pool water to bo cold in the winter months since nobody heats their pools; not just BPT, but everyone. Anybody heard of a heated pool in that area?
