Can you be more specific as to your friend's expectations?What did they not have that he wanted. What was missing? In addition, did he not like vegetarian style food? Thanks for checking!

I wish I could elaborate, but he told me this 3 yrs ago. He said the food wasn't very good and they had to go elsewhere for something to eat. Maybe there has been an improvement.

I did meet a family from Brooklyn 1 1/2yrs ago in Tulum and they ate there and said it was good.

We're headed down in exactly 11 weeks. O.K. I know it's far off but we've been at this for a couple months now.

No matter where you look you'll find negatives. Each person's opinion comes from their ideas of what good, etc are. Just that. It's their owne personal perspective.

We're not looking for a top of the line place. We're looking for a place we can feel like we can relax, is smaller, great beach..... and as far as the food.... I have found waaaay more people that say it's good than not. I had a friend that stayed at a place in Cancun in November and hated the food where they are and she's not picky in the least!

Maybe to help..... there are two brand new reports on Debbie's spot and I frequent the texaspepper.net site for answers...... ALONG with trip advisor. I think it helped us make a well informed decision.
