I just checked out the update. I'm concerned over the part that said to expect downgrades. It seems like this place has a problem with getting people the rooms they requested on a normal day. Hopefully there won't be mass caos. I sent Karisma an e-mail requesting how long they anticipate the downgrades will be going on. I'll post their reply when I find out. I've got an oceanfront jacuzzi suite w/ a King suposively guaranteed and that's what I expect to get by January. If not, I may book somewhere else. This is a special Anniversary trip and I don't want to be thrown in the back of a resort with a view to an alley or something. I know you don't spend a ton of time in your room, but after all, at $1500 pp for 7 nights (over $200 pp per day), you really should get what you pay for, including a deluxe room. Okay, I vented, sorry. I'm just so tired of worrying about whether a resort will be open, what's the damage, etc. I already went through this with Emily this summer when Xpu-Ha Palace got destroyed and we had to make other arrangements then.

I got a copy of a layout of the resort if you are interested post you email i will forward dont see how i can on this site..

they said there are some additional bldgs villa with pools and such but it gave good idea of what to except room location wise it looks like they all face the water.

I know what you mean about stressing, we were scheduled to go Nov 27, skyservice cxl flight so TA has me going Nov 25 we also booked jacuzzi gardenview and requested second floor.. from what i under everyting is pretty much done.. some units got water damage broken windows and nov 17 gym and spa will not be ready but serivces provided on the beach...I know how all about special occassions we were in coz for our 25th in Feb..want everything to be perfect.. not sure if they babble helps but i will glady post review and pics when i return on Dec 2.. i even have guys at work wanting me to scout out there resort in Jan EDR..margaritas and coronas 16 days...!
