After thorough research on line and contacting many of the hotels, seems like we are down to the choice of two: Shambala Petit and Cabanas Arrecife.

Neither of these has reviews on this site. Found one in French and one in Italian, but would be interested to hear more from people who have some experience with any of the places.

I know Shambala has a pretty narrow piece of land, just judging from the beach view. Not sure about the other. Have you looked at intulum.com?
