Last November we attempted to locate this hotel. When first entering the pueblo on the highway we made a right. On the corner was a bldg. that had blue tarp covering the roof. We checked out 3 hotels in the vicinity, and they were all pretty bad. One totally wreaked of bleach and had an empty pool that they actually stored equipment in. The worst was next to an Italian restaurant, that I'm pretty sure was closed down. We walked through knee high grass to the entrance, where a gringo woman showed us the room. We had to step over broken bottles and empty bleach containers to get to the room on the 2nd floor, which had no barriers to prevent you from falling off! The only reason I checked the room out was that I was curious as to how bad it could possibly be. The place exceeded my expectations. I couldn't remember the name of the Posada at the time.
