Hi - I'm arriving at Posada Luna del Sur this Sunday.

It's in the middle of downtown just off of Ave Tulum. (downtown is only about 7 blocks long) Very convenient for strolling to restaurants and shops. Ten minute drive to beach.

Enjoy!

Hi: My friend and I stayed there in December. We did not have a car and don't mind walking. The Posada is about 5-6 blocks from the main group of businesses that compose Tulum "downtown". You do have to walk along the main road (or highway) on the shoulder of the road but it was not a concern for us. The Posada is very nice and clean, good coffee at breakfast and Janet and Jack are great. Wish I was back there right now. Have a great time!

Stayed their last year during my first trip to Tulum - unfortunately, they are booked for my upcoming trip. It is a very easy walk to the "downtown" area, and safe. If you are walking to the hotel, you can avoid walking on the very dirty, somewhat scarey, shoulder of the main road by taking the side streets instead of the main road. Janet can show you on a map when your arrive!
