The Allegro is right next door to the Maya. That beach used to be real nice.

I think beach used to be real nice, may be the key here. Much of Playacar seems to have problems now with little plan in place to repair it. I hope they figure out something soon!

i am in playacar now, and im afraid that there isnt alot of beach left at the allegro and the viva wyndham. in fact the only decent size beach is from iberostar tucan to riu yucatan and this bit is very very crowded on a nice day.all the times we went down there the sea was really rough, bringing up rocks and stones onto the beach all along.i know it cant be helped with the hurricane but i wouldnt come back to playacar because of the lack of beach.

I crossed to Cozumel this morning and was amazed to see how little beach the Palace has left. Almost no beach at all.

Do you know for Royal Hideaway? There is still place to swim?

We were at the Playacar Palace over Thanksgiving and could barely get onto the beach, it is really badly eroded and the waves were crashing something fierce into the breakwall. I fear they may be in trouble soon also.
