Hi there!Has anyone recently come back from the Reef Coco Beach? I seem to remember a couple of you who left messages on the forum about the overbooking were going to the resort really soon, and I wondered what your experiences had been?

Hi! My husband and I just returned from Reef Coco Beach, it was great. The service was very good, the food was fine, the staff tried very hard to make your stay there very enjoyable. We will have pictures if you want to see them I can email them to you. We had a great vacation so don't worry about the negative reviews. We heard too that if you book through a tour such as Funjet, you don't get bumped to the other hotel. I did have lunch at the Reef Playacar, it was great. The pool had lots more palm trees, food seemed a bit better but of course I did not see a room. I really wouldn't worry too much.
Hi Happygirl! Thanks so much for your reply... it's good to know that they do seem to be addressing the issue of overbooking. Did you try out the ala cartes, everyone seems to rave about them?I would LOVE to see any pictures you have... I have actually posted a separate question on this forum asking if anyone has any pictures as the only ones I have found are on the Community Webshots website. so that would be great. Also good to hear that the staff makes an effort. Some of the recent reviews have criticised some members of staff as being really sulky and sullen.Glad you had a gret break!
