I wont post again until we get back.... but anyone travelling in the next weeks... relax... get excited and prepare for a wondeful trip. They are FABULOUS. All the services are open and everyone is amazing. The service is excellent. Request a room in one of the 3 7000 block rooms, these are ocean front.

Everything is absolutely perfect. We have stayed at Sandles, Beaches and Breezes in the past througout the Carribean and by far the service and beauty of the place is nicer than our past travels. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!

Will post more and answer questions upon our return on Sunday.

I am interested in your comparison as well. We've been to Secrets Excellence in Punta Cana and Capri. I'd love to know how the beach compares from Punta Cana to Secrets Excellence in Riv. May.

Have not been to S/E Riviera Cancun yet....due to visit in December. Have heard some great things about the beach though. Asked some questions and got some answers (both through this forum, the hotel reservations people, and finally from someone who just returned). It is said that the sand is easy walking (not too hard and not to soft) and that it is quite long and you can walk for miles. You will pass in front of different resorts, but there isn't anything blocking the way for a long walk. We are more pool people than ocean/beach people, but we LOVE to take a walk each day. We travel quite a bit and our favorite beach so far has been S/E Punta Cana beach. We're hoping for a good one here as well. I wish you safe travels and have a great time!
