Hi, just wondering if anyone has any info. about proposed opening dates for the Grand Gala Esmeralda.

We have booked to go to the GGA at the end of July, and our TA still wont admit that there could be a problem!!

Would be really gratefulfor any up to date news.

I'm booked for November and I'm concerned. This hotel has changed opening dates SEVERAL times. Their official booking agent, Zapotel, emailed that the official opening date was supposed to be June 15th. If you go to Funjet.com they will tell you that the hotel will be fully opened in December. Please post with your review, good luck.

My TA told me today the estimated date is noe July 15th and we are looking to book for the beginning of Nov. but not sure as we are unaware of the current status. According to the gala website they are having a "soft opening" from then till December when everything is supposed to be up and running. If you know of any info more up to date than this please post.
