Yes, they can and do expect the men to wear long pants. And try 95+ degrees and ungodly humidity! This was the biggest bone of contention among my husband and son about going to the Lindo. But I basically told them they had two choices. 1. Wear the long pants or 2. go eat at the buffet and my daughter and I would see them later. Change right before dinner and plan on going back to the room directly after. It really wasn't that bad...but then again I had on a skirt!
