“ Royal Porto Real Beds? ”

I am considering booking Royal Porto Real for our honeymoon in late June early July. I am seeing in alot of the pictures that the King size bed is two beds pushed together???

Anyone who has stayed here can you please help me? The resort looks great but we would rather not sleep in a bed that we sink in the middle......

Hi, I posted on another thread you started, but I'll post again here. We stayed at the Royal last year with two other couples. Two couples had one king sized bed in both of our rooms and the other couple had two queens. They had asked the front desk if they could be moved and the hotel was going to but my brother and sis-in-law just decided to stay since they had already unpacked. When you book make sure you tell them that this will be your honeymoon and you have to have one king bed. If you have a good travel agent or on-line agent it should be no problem.

You'll love it.

we had 2 rooms at the RPR and we both had kings. we actually needed 1 room w/ 2 bed for the kids!

BTW: they were both real kings (1 bed).

What would you consider the best travelsite to use to get a good rate?

i always shop around. we only pay land as we have FF miles, so that can make a difference. we don't shop for "package deals".

for land only: travel-center.com and expedia, and travelocity are 3 i always look at. i always check the resort web site as well.

IZEP, I have checked around with a lot of diferent web sites and three different travel agents, but I always get the best deal from discount-all-inclusive.com and Bob. He has booked three vacations for us so far, including our honeymoon, and has always been able to beat any price I have found. If you need any other info, just let me know.
