I found that two weeks before we went and checked it everyday... looking out my window at work and seeing snow and cold .... and to see sun and warmth there. now that I'm 36 hours back from Playa, it's terribly depressing to see that beautiful sun/warmth when alas, I again have snow/cold.. oh well, next winter... :)

Beryl, I have been doing the exact thing!! Going in 3 weeks, just dreaming here, looking out the window here, it SNOWING and they are calling for BLIZZARD CONDITIONS through tomorrow. I keep telling my husband that once he gets me to PDC, he may not get me back on the plane!! LOL

Good Morning.....my husband is out blowing the 12+ inches of snow we got last night here in Milwaukee (and it's still coming down good!), while I'm looking at the sun/beach in PDC.....I told him to keep a stiff upper lip, we leave in less than four weeks (Yahoo!)....I'm with you AmherstTraveler, we won't want to come back either.....where are you staying?

This website is sooo great but help me! I can not find the beachcam. Is it on the home page, where? I really need it too because I'm in Winnipeg and it's almost 50 below up here. I'm not kidding...it is sooo friggin' cold, you can't imagine.

Yes on the home page...upper left corner. Goes off the page at dark, but on during the day.....changes every 10 seconds. Nice!!

On the main page you will see Welcome to Play.info it has light blue box around it (right in center of page) it says on down

Our new beach webcam is live in the multiMedia section.

Check it out! The beach cam word is highlighted in blue, just click on it. (I couldn't find link when I clicked on the Multimedia part of website on the side. ) This will take y ou to the webcam, it says you have to have java script installed to watch cam. I hope this helps.
