I will be getting married on April 19 (arriving on April 15), and would like some suggestions from other past Palladium vacationers on the following:

1. a great room location (prefer the top floor, with a nice view, and kind of central to everything - although I do prefer closer to the beach).

2. The locations for the wedding ceremony are described as the gazebo surrounded by garden/jungle, and by the beach. I have seen some photo's of a gazebo (in a sandy area), but can't tell if it's anywhere near the beach. I have also seen some beach shots, which do not have a gazebo, but more like a wooden hutch, with some fabric surrounding it. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

3. Has anyone had their bridal makeup done by the spa/salon? What was your experience? Is it worth it? What about other spa/salon services...anything worth looking into?

4. How was the reception dinner menu? Were there several choices?

5. If anyone reserves the Gran Azul (for a private reception), what are your thoughts on this? I have reserved this, and am trying to figure out if I will need to bring any decorations, table centerpieces, etc.

6. Does anyone know if the resort itself can help cater to someone with food allergies. My mother-in-law has an allergy to garlic and onion, and we are trying to figure out ways to make her stay as comfortable as possible, with as many options available to her as possible.

Any other suggestions, reviews, ect. would be very appreciated. Also, if anyone has any 'Palladium websites' they know of, please let me know, or if anyone has any pictures they can share.
