Just wondering if the sofas in the room are pull-outs? Can the kids sleep there so we can get a king size bed instead of two doubles? Thanks! Report as inappropriate |
|
No, they are not. Only one person will fit on the sofa. Report as inappropriate

We were in building 62 and we had a king-sized bed and a sofa sleeper. We asked the concierge if they could make up the bed and they did. They just keep it pulled out for you and make it along with your king sized bed. That was one of our concerns when we booked. My husband and I wanted a king, but we have a 7 year old. Everything worked out great. Me and my 7 year old got the king size and my husband got the pull-out (haha)!!. So yes they definately have pull out sofa sleepers. Have fun... Tina B. Tina, that's good to know. We were in a Superior Suite in building 60, and ours was just a plain couch. Interesting! Report as inappropriate

We requested building 60. I am glad we didn't get it. OR that could be why we didn't get it, because we requested a king with pull out sofa... Report as inappropriate

Seems to be a great variety at Maya. I was in Bldg 60 in March. Didnt notice about MY sofa. BEst to ask hotel, but remember even if you email them for room request, you aren't always going to get it. Especailly if they are crowded. Report as inappropriate

Coral & Karen: I requested building 60. How far is it from the ala carte restaurants? Do you know if wave runners can be rented at this resort? Would you choose building 60 again? Report as inappropriate

Can somebody give some detail on the resort's kids programm? We'll be there July. Report as inappropriate

Building 60 is as far as you can get from most of the restaurants (except the dinner buffet and the Mexican). It's about a 5 minute (brisk) to 10 minute (leisurely) walk. Yes, I would request building 60 again. We really enjoyed the walk because the courtyards are so beautiful. That building is very quiet at night because it's far from the entertainment. It's convenient to the beach and pool. You might possibly get better housekeeping and concierge service because the more expensive suites are in building 60. There is also the chance of a little bit of ocean view (as much as anywhere at this resort). Report as inappropriate
