We are staying at Aventura Mexicana off 5th ave and calle 24-26. They stated they have a beach club that they send people to called Kool. The person on the phone had broken english so was hard to understand. But I asked him to spell it and this is what he gave me. Do you know of such a place and if so do they have a web site. I have searched and cant seem to find information on it. Thank you. Report as inappropriate |

Yep - it is a newer club and was under an different name. Probably why you can't find on the web yet. I have read fab things about the food and service. Most say it is better than Mamitas (sp?), but that could be because they are a new club. Report as inappropriate | ||||||

Kool is at the foot of Calle 28th next to Mamitas. It is smaller than Mamitas but newer, nicer with much better service and we think it has one of the nicer lunch menus in the hotel zone which is unusual for a beach club. Several decks and bars, it also has umbrellas, chairs and the requesite sun beds. It also has a small lap pool. All in all we think it is the nicest beach club in Playa right now. It is only about a 5-10 minute walk from the Adventura Mexicana. Tony abd Cheri Luna Blue Hotel and Garden Report as inappropriate | ||||||
