“ Riu Yucatan ”

We are leaving for the Yucatan in two weeks. Does anyone have any info about the Yucatan? Is the golf close by? Do they have irons in the room? What are some must do's that you could recommend? Is it safe to drink the water at the resort if it is not bottled? Can you make reservations for dinner online now? Thanks for any info.

Hi Red! Although I have not been there, I am going to the Tequila in Nov. and have done alot of research on TA on both the Tequila and the Yucatan.

I know that there is a golf course that borders some of the Tequila and the Lupita, so yes there is one near. I dont know the cost of green fees though.

No irons in the room, but they are available at the desk.

Bottled water is provided in the Mini Bar in each room.

Dinner reservations are made at 7am each morning. I heard the buffets are wonderful if that is too early to get up.

Check out some of the reviews, they provide a load of wonderful info about the resort. You can also check out the Riu Bambu web site which is soley dedicated to the Riu Resorts.
