“ River Maya Hotels need help with hotel ”

I am planning a trip to Mexico I want somewhere in the Rivera Maya but a resort were we can walk to shopping center in Playa de Carmen. Does anyone have any idea what hotels I should be looking into. I have small children so I want a resort which will be kid/family friendly and has a seperate kids pool and a nice beach.

I hear the Iberostar Tucan and Quetzal resorts are great with kids. Also, several of the Riu properties in Playacar. They should be within walking distance of the Playacar shopping center, though the best shopping would be done on 5th and is a 5 min. cab ride.
