 Grand Coco Bay

Is there anyone out there that did not get bumped from the GCB? We are traveling in a group of ten people and almost every review I have read lately is complaining about being bumped to a different resort. I put this trip together and now I am wondering if I should do some backtracking. Anyone have any advice? We are traveling through Funjet. That has always been a very reliable thing, but now I am real uptight! Help, please!

AOS--as mentioned previously we booked through Expedia this time because it was $ 500 cheaper than Funjet. All our other vacations we booked through Transglobal (now known as Funjet). I would suggest calling your Funject representative and have them rattle some cages.

aos, would it hurt to speak directly to Alfonso(sp?) the hotel manager and see if there will be a problem especially since you are a large group and don't want to risk being split up......we are just a family of four so not as worried .....

We leave a week this Friday, very excited ....The day before we actually drive to another city as it was cheaper to fly out there.....But I will call too......From what I hear, it's a great place to be if there is no overbooking issues......I booked with a company called itravel2000, I'll call them too to see if they have some connections to make sure there are no problems...all in all it is paradise we are going to way better than working and living it the cold.....

I did speak to my agent and she said we are safe with Funjet. She also gave me then name of the general manager-Robert Cintron. I hope this helps for you guys who want to call in advance. As for you Pastywhite, have an awesome time and have a drink for me! Don't forget to write your review. Can't wait to hear what you think!

Pasty,

I have been to Mexico many times and each time I plan a trip I get as excited if not more than the first time. My heart belongs in Cozumel, but I can do Playa, too! I am like a kid in a candy shop. I feel like jumping up and down and saying "now, now, now. Hurry lets go now!" But, being the adult I am, I have to wait another 8 weeks! It' so hard!

Lol aos, you hit it bang on....I'm almost 45 years old but feel like a kid in a candy store......I'm driving everyone crazy.....These next 10 days will feel soooooooo long......I know stress is going to creep in soon as the real packing starts......(still have to do some clothes shopping......) I'm having the kids try on last years sandals and water shoes ect. to see if things still fit......summer things are starting to come out which is exciting, always like to go with new things......I'm sure you haven't heard the last of me before I'm off on that plane......
