Aventura Spa Palace Beach |
|
Hi I am new here, but have been checking out this site for a couple weeks. It is a great olace with tons of info. We are going to Aventura Spa Palace first week in May and have never been to Mexico. I know there is no beach per say but I seem to be getting mixed answers if there are any beaches that are within walking distance. Any other tips are also welcome and greatly appreciated. Thanks |

We stayed at ASP last May. They do not have a "beach" with waves, they have lagoons that are great for snorkeling or kayaking. There is not a beach within walking distance that I know of. I read a review before our trip last year that said if you went to the very south of the resort and under the fence you could walk to Puerto Aventuras, but we didn't try it. The resort was awsome!!! And so was the service! They bend over backwards to make your vacation a great one. Make sure to try the ice-cream that is at the snack station by the south pool, YUM! Hope you have a wonderful time!!!

I love the ASP. No beach that I know of either in walking distace but both Puerto Aventura and Playa del Carmen (in opposite directions of eachother) are a short cab ride away. In both lobies of the ASP there are posted prices for trasport Some of the excursions like Tulum and Paradise snorkel have beaches too A day trip to the Coz palace via Ferry would be fun too. No beach but its a cool destination and meals booze is included. I think its 13.00 pp each way and walkable from the ferrry but I prefer a 5.00 taxi. There are two companies that run the boats and I believe its hourly. dont buy roundtrip tickets because when your ready to go, the company you bought the ticket from may not be the next ferry. On this forum you can do a search, just tyle in a subject and you will see past posts. Have fun

My husband and I will also be at ASP the first week of May. This will be our 6th visit...we are Palace members. Needless to say, we love this place. We travel ALOT and have been just about everywhere and we call this resort home. There is no way you can describe ASP. It is so fabulous...wait til you see. Keep in mind that when you stay at any Palace, you can use all 7 in the area. Take the shuttle to Cancun (Beach Palace) and you will find a beautiful beach. All drinks and food included at all Palaces!! Also, Palace co. just purchased Club Tullum which is an 8 min. taxi ride south of ASP and that beach is incredible. So if you want beach, its available. Trust me, you won't miss it at all when you see ASP. My email is tjkitty84@yahoo.com if I can help you with anything at all!!!See you in May!!!
