“ Good 4 star hotel needed for End July / August 2007 ”

Hi just decided to book a holiday in the kids summer holidays.

And decided on Mexico!

We are taking my mum so 3 Adults and 2 kids aged 6 + 9.

Any one been and could recommend a hotel? What is the best area to stay in?

Not worried about being near a beach but pools are a must as kids are in them most of the day!!

Also what about prices???? Just did 2 quotes on line one was £5000 + the other was £7000! Seems alot of money but is it?

Is that Portsmouth New Hampshire or Portsmouth England????? Its an international forum. Other P`m`s I know but it would help with prices. Go 5 star as its not much more & you would be glad you did.. Riu Tequila will blow your socks off. Just my opinion.....you only live once..why scimp.

I have not been to the Barcelo, but there was a glowing review of it on www.playa.info from a woman who took her kids there over Christmas. Lots of things for kids to-activity pool and slides, kids club, etc. Here's a link to the post-hope it works. She has lots of pictures too!
