Can anyone tell between Villa Kiin and Playa LA Media Luna which you would stay at? Is construction noise a concern at either of these? HELP. |

I've not stayed at either place, but if I were going to it would be Playa Media Luna...... to me it is a more upscale and much nicer property. It has a lovely pool and pool bar, a view of the sunrises and the crashing caribbean waves. You have to walk to Playa Norte to swim, but it's not far. Have fun!

I stayed at Media Luna a couple weeks ago. There is construction fairly close, but the noise from the waves makes it pretty unnoticeable. If you're sitting by the pool you won't see the construction either, because Hotel Secreto is in between. You do have to walk by the construction coming and going from town, but it isn't a big deal. As the condo project gets further along it may become more obtrusive, just because of its size. For now, not an issue.

Media Luna appears to be a much better choice from perspective of general appearance, views, amenities etc. Villa Kiin looks to be very bohemian and fairly dark...cannot really see rooms as you pass by. Construction noise a minor concern at Media Luna but I doubt you can hear anything. We were at Secreto and it was not much there either and that is closer to construction. Depending on when you are traveling space availability might be an issue as Media Luna I know is very popular.
