Hi,

If you are coming to Mexico for diving then you should head directly to Cozumel. There is more than diving available here on the island, like a trip around the island to the east side to a deserted beach that you can call your own or a visit to the ruins. It would be a more authentic visit to Mexico if you are to come to the island.

Besides that, it's beautiful here! With some insider's information you are able to 'get away from it all' and still enjoy what the island has to offer, like diving!!!! Why be on the out skirts when you've come this far??? Come right to the source!!!

No contest.....Go to Cozumel to dive, not Cancun. Topside is great, too.

Some people love Cancun and some people love The Coz. My wife and I traveled with a group to Cancan this past summer, after bein in The Coz three different times. There is no comparison as far as I am concerned. We love the Coz. Relaxing, slow paced, no reminders of the US except maybe McDonalds. Snorkeling right off the beach. We spend 4 days in Cancun and could only get in the water one day, due to the wind and waves. Coz is protected from the wind and the water is quiet most all of the time on the hotel side. Give it a try.
