We have been going there for years. Not

luxious but very comfortable and the staff

is great. The first trip I was a little disappointed at first but stayed and learned

to love it there. Good location not far

from main shopping area. Nice pools, good

restaurants. I like the wing on ground level

where you can walk right out to the beach.

Even after they built the cruise ship pier

which did obstruct the wonderful view a little

I found it was nice to sit and eat breadfast

and watch the cruise ships arrive. If you

scuba, dive shop is on the premises. Nice

snorkeling directly in front. My prayers

and heart are with the people of Cozumel

and the staff of La Ceiba. Hope all is well

and any rebuilding is swift so I can go back

to my favorite vacation spot, and I have

been all over Mexico, Europe, USVI, and

us warm vacation areas and this is still my

favorite.
