Oh, I'm so sad... Here is the reply I received from Casa Mexicana.
On to Plan B - whatever that is.
Hurricane Wilma has come and gone, fortunately all Cozumel’s visitors
are recovering from the effects of Mother Nature, helping to clean up,
and move on.
Casa Mexicana Cozumel is standing proud, we have electricity supplied
by our own generator and purified water provided by our desalinated
plant, we are taking care of the guests and staff that stayed during the
event. The management and staff along with many of our guests, prepared
for, braved the hurricane and readied ourselves for the aftermath.
Casa Mexicana Cozumel suffered minor cosmetic damages that will be
repaired as soon as possible, we are depending on the reestablishment of
municipal water and electricity as well as the crossing of cargo ferries
with construction supplies.
All bookings between October 20th, 2005 to December 15th, 2005 will be
rescheduled or canceled, depending on your needs. For more information
please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Updated information regarding the Hotel opening will be posted on our
web page www.casamexicanacozumel.com
Thank you very much for your prayers, e-mails, phone calls and visits.
You will see that Casa Mexicana Cozumel and the beautiful Island of
Cozumel will move on.
Our thanks go out to the management and staff of Casa Mexicana Cozumel,
all of our guests, and most importantly the people and city of Cozumel.
To the people of Cozumel:
Your courage and strength is astounding.
Your willingness to help your friends, neighbors, your fellow store
owners, and strangers is truly astonishing.
We will not be beaten, we will prevail.
We will rebuild, and be again the best we can be.
