Hi.

Does anyone know how the work is progressing on the Park Royal and how what exactly they're doing?

We'll be there December 31st - about 2 weeks after the work is supposed to be done.

My understanding is that it will be closed down for some time, at least a year. I think Dec 31 is quite optomistic. The Palace was to be ready last December, but it is only opening now. I had heard that Sheraton was going to be managing it, but not sure if that is true.

Cancelled our reservation. We didn't want to take a chance on it not being open. We got a villa at the Hyatt Cancun Caribe in January instead.
