Hi Maria------there is no booking the shuttle online. You just go to the window and pay the posted rate............OR do the walk outside the airport premises...........BUT I have seen Margarita at the airport in the past meeting people............so it may be worth asking. Am not sure if she still does that, and if she does, it is still to bring you back to the main office for the paperwork anyway..........she is so darn nice and so busy with her so successful business, that I personally would never ask her to do that in order to save three bucks. But that is just me.........hahhaa..............Betsy

If you emal or call Margarita at Isis, she will send her husband to get you with the car. They picked me up and then took us to the airport when we left yesterday.

I know for a fact that she will pick you up at your hotel if it's near town and bring you to the office to complete the rental transaction. I also know for a fact that she will take you from the office to the airport after turning in the car. But I believe she is prohibited from picking people up at the airport. Since it would be part of a business transaction it might be considered transport for profit..

Thanks everyone, I'll just grab the shuttle at the airport, drop my stuff and head into town to the ISIS office to pick up the car there and do all the paperwork.

Thanks Betsy, my dad is so excited. I've warned him that I'm going to inspect what he calls swimming trunks before I turn him loose on the island - you know what dads are like - he hasn't used them for many a year and I have a horrible feeling that they may be, let's just say "outdated"!!!!! He's said he won't wear, and I quote, "them things down to my knees", so I feel a bit of compromise will be needed.

I emailed Margarita since we are planning another trip in September . I asked her about picking up the car at the airport since we are renting it for the week.. Here is her response.

we can wait for you at the airport, but we have to walk outside , by the voulevard, because we have problems with the security, they block the way at the local rentals and we can't pick the customers on the airport parking.

before you come again , write one mail and we say how to do.

So just send her an email. Lots cheaper than the shuttle and nice to be able to hop in the car and go where you want.
