Curious to find out the best route to take and the cost if one wants to travel to Cancun. My husband wants to see it--I prefer not to vacation there but will go for a day with him to explore. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ferry to Playa Del Carmen is $11 US per person each way. Bus to Cancun bus station is about $3.5 US per person each way but then you have to get to the hotel zone. A taxi may be $15 or so (not sure) and there are other buses that go to the hotel zone but I have never taken one of them.
