“ Last minute hotel help needed, please! ”

Well we leave on Friday March 2nd arrive at Cozumel Airport around 8pm. We are staying in Coz for 1 night and then going on to playa del carmen the next evening. We want to get as much out of our 24 hours in Cozumel as possible. We would like to start out with a good inexpensive breakfast, spend the bulk of our day at the beach, snorkeling and sunning. Any advice for a place to stay just one night, that is convenient. We are not planning on renting a car. Thanks in advance! We need some advice fast! Also any tips on romantic beachfront places in playa would be appreciated as well.
