Since the dive operator used this place to do our surface interval I thought it would be useful to take a few photos to use when people ask about it on the forum. There were 6 cruise ships in that day and the beach club was very busy, but not that many people were in the water, just lounging in the sun. As for the beach in this location it is a very nice sand beach with very little rock or anything else to force you to wear water shoes to walk in from the shore. I hadn't been here in 3 years so didn't know about the new beach club (Paradise) and now they are also building another one right beside the San Francisco section of the pair.

As CaptRon has pointed out, there are a lot of free & secluded areas that would appeal to many who are thinking of spending a day at the beach. This pair of beach clubs were just way to filled with patrons to be my idea of where to spend a day at the beach. Each person has their own likes & dislikes, so hopefully the photos will help people know what to expect before heading out to a beach club. I am also uploading some from Palancar Beach Club which was far less busy, but that particular day the waves were a bit rough which may have been part of the reason. (Separate post for Palancar photo link). copy & paste.

Wow, lots of peoples, I say look for a more secluded beach. Looks more like a circus with all the toys in the water.

For someone that has NEVER been to the caribbean or possibly the ocean, then this type of environment would be perfectly enjoyable.

But, after experiencing what an island truly has to offer, then you learn that it's much better and more enjoyable in a less-crowded environment.

Kids love a circus. It's not the beach for a couple looking for quiet relaxation. It gets much quieter later in the day after 4pm, and the sun rays are not as damaging.

Admission to the beach is free but you're expected to buy food or drinks. The charge was something like $8 for the kids to use the "toys" such as the iceberg, trampoline, and mats.
