If you don't have a laptop to take the closest internet cafe we found was at the Hotel Barracuda, which is about a 5 block walk. There may be something closer, but we didn't notice it (2 that were closer last trip have closed and other businesses were in the buildings).

There is a very small business right next to the movies upstairs in the "Chedraui mall".. did I say that right? They sell computer stuff there and have about 6 public computers. When I was living in an apartment right behind Chedraui last year, I used this place every couple of days to check mail. Chedraui is just a hop, skip and jump from Scuba Club too. The hours are not as long as the internet places in town, but the price is right.. 10pesos per hour or a buck.
