Cancun Forum: JC Capitan from Sun Palace

Thanks Mapchick, I have your maps, but I was not sure by looking at them.

J.C. Capitan is definitely a very short walk, not a cab ride, from Sun Palace. Please say hi to J.C. for me when you go, and try to get there not too much later than 5 p.m. so you will be able to enjoy the entire sunset, it's really spectacular!

I agree, a sunset at JC Capitan is not be missed. On one trip we watched the sunset and had dinner there four nights in a row, (and it was a taxi ride away). We also really like supporting such hard working local businesses. They are the nicest people you are likely to meet.

Got to agree with you all. I was so board with the all inclusive food and this place was such a breath of fresh air. Make sure to ask for the home made habanero salsa. It's spicy, but like nothing I've ever had before.

IMHO this is a must do....The sunset is amazing and the food was to die for. But the best thing was the staff made you feel like very special company or family versus a customer. I cant say enough about this place. It is very close to Sun Palace. A very easy walk.

An easy walk and a good relaxing meal with a great view and you get to see the crocidile. Tip: bring bug spray.
