Yes I just posted. The beach is gone! You may be able to transfer to another Palace Resort once you arrive, if the beach is really important. There is Beach Palace, Moon Palace, Cancun Palace and a few more.

Be sure to do your research! Some of these Palace resorts are far from the Clubs and face lagoons, not the Ocean.
