We watched the Superbowl last year in Cozumel and found it a little frustrating. All the commentary was in Spanish and they didn;t have any of the commercials. They just kept running one for Ford trucks. I hope it is different for you.

Caliente is a sports betting bar that will be having a Super Bowl party for certain! Another option is heading downtown to La Taberna.

The satellite services are different at every hotel, can't say which affiliate you will get.

I have to admit since I don't speak much spanish, other than dos cervezas pro favor, it was quite humorous to hear the announcers get excited in their spanish commentary during the game. Whether the game is announced in english or spanish the mainthing is your watching it in CANCUN baby!

I don't know where you are staying but we just got back from Dreams and the showed all the playoff games on a big screen in the ballroom or outside weather permitting. Had all the usual game type food and snacks set out . It was alot of fun. I know they are going to have a big party for the super bowl also. Have fun I wish we were still there.

I was at the superbowl party at Dreams last year, it was awesome, they had it set up on the beach and you are watching the superbowl on a lounge chair with a waiter serving you drinks, so good. Too bad the Eagles lost though.

But I had made plans to go see it at Champions before I knew that it would be held at my hotel. They had a $10 cover and a free t shirt last year.
