we're looking to swim with the dolphins in cancun or riviera maya, we dont mind spending a bit of money as it is a once in a lifetime experience, so can anyone recommend anywhere, or has anyone been to the wet n wild or dolphin discovery to swim with the dolphins and have any comments to make, any help greatly appriciated

Dolphin Discovery in the Isla Shopping Plaza.

$125USD for 1 hour session (55 minutes in the water)

A kiss

A Hug

Free Swim (15 mins)

Foot Push

Feed Them

Jumping Show (5 minutes)

We bought the 2 kiss pics and a DVD of the whole thing for $50 US and we got a frame too. It was WELL worth it.

Post your email and I can send some pics.

Just got back from Cancun on Sunday.

Did the dolphin swim at Parque Nizuc, Atlantida. Its better than La Isla because you swim the dolphins in the ocean which is their naturla environment and feels more real.

Cost - $115 dollars - 1 hour (30 minutes talk through and 30 minutes swim)

DVD - $35 dollars (well worth it)

Pictures - $15 dollars

You get a kiss, hug, foot push and you get to touch/rub them. They also perform a show for you.

The price also includes entry into Wet n Wild for the day.

If you want a real experience try the sealife plus adventure with Dolphin Discovery in Puerto Aventuras you not only get to swim with dolphins but with stingrays and manatees too. If you are going to make it a once in a lifetime experience pay the extra for this it is great

We did the golden cruise and dolphin discovery trip, it was well worth it. We spent the day at Isla Mujeres (think thats how you spell it), and included in the cruise was all your drink and all of your food. You also get to go on a golf buggy tour, swim with stingrays and sharks, a snorkelling tour and the swim with the dolphins. We did the Royal Swim which meant that you could do everything with them. In the sea with them for ages. The cost for the entire day, for two people was approx $400-$500, but this included purchasing a DVD and four pictures. It was expensive but definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend doing this trip over any others. Hope this helps
