The disco is not good. It can lead to good things but in all the disco is not good

only went once was a laff but was loads of rap not really my scene ha ha

If you look back on my review of the Riu Cancun, I have a picture of it. I was very surprised at how small it is. We did not waste our time going there since there were so many other clubs nearby off hotel property. If you want to not pay to go to club, give it a try, the worst that can happen is it is no fun and you leave right?

Could you advise if there is a bar or club which plays 60's/indie music at all, my sis is into r&b which I don't mind but I love bands like the Rolling Stones, The Killers, The Kinks, Kaiser Chiefs, is there anywhere you could advise which plays this type of music?

I'm getting very excited now as not long to go!

while we were there last year, they had a over 30s night at the La Pacha. Its was just OK and much better than other nights that we tryed it. As Jo says, it was mainly rap music and its very dark in there. LOL

It would seem that we have the same kind of taste in music and I'm sorry to say it but we never found any last year. Lots of party music in most bars around party central, so just go with the flow and ENJOY.

I agree with Daz - the music is mainly geared towards the americans

didnt like the music in daddy o's although we had a good laff in there

U going to Coco Bongos - its a good night in there - we guna try The City and Bulldogs this year as well

Can we at least agree that the club at RIU Cancun is not too bad if you are taking a break from the Cancun night clubs? It is small, and it is dark. For a hotel club its not so bad. The music is top 40, and salsa. I am going in april. My 1st night that's where I will be. And what's the worse that can happen??? You dance and drink for free.... not a bad deal.

I agree with u but they do cater for u americans a lot

not much english music when we were there and there was loads of teens with their tops off givin it the BIG I AM - couldnt get a drink for the first 20 mins for the bar man losing his rang so went to the sports bar haha

im no way old (34) but wouldnt go there every night ha ha
