The rumors are true, almost shocking, in Fat Tuesday's resurrection, after a lengthy legal fight and employee strike before the popular club's eventual closure at its longtime location at Playa Tortuga this past year.
We had the pleasure of visiting Fat Tuesday's in the club's new location at Playa Linda's El Embarcadero, first floor level, and outside party/seating area over the past few days and the Club is fully operational and ready to party.
The smoothie/frosty drink machines are in place and pumping out the cold ones and the music is playing, the facility was extremely clean and is also serving light food fare. According to the manager, the Club has fought back from their Mexican Government legal woes and is prepared to head into the future, in their new location, as good as if not better than their previous incarnation. Currently plans are for the Club to have access to the entire open air side seating area (left hand side) plus their first floor interior party area at El Embarcadero directly in front of the daytime docking area of the Red and Green Pirate Tour ships
The small former outdoor drink/snack area at El Embarcadero will be vacated and replaced by Fat Tuesday's in the near future as well.
