Cancun Forum: Casa Magna Beach

First come, first serve, no charge on the tropical umbrellas. Take a book/beach bag/ sandals or something besides a towel to the umbrella of choice, early. We dropped sandals and a book on the one we wanted before breakfast (around 8am). Usually showed up on the beach around 10am and all was fine. First day we just laid towels and showed up around 11 and our chairs were taken! Good luck, have fun!

I am still uncertain about the beach itself.. I have read about boulders, bulldozers?

any recent reviews about the beach. I go for the beach!

we are booked for April 28 for six nights.

The bulldozer was at the JW Marriott next door not the Casa Magna when we were there Feb. 28th. We stayed at the JW, but ended up using the Casa Magna. There was plenty on chairs and beach was not too bad (of course not as nice as pre wilma). Have stayed at the Casa Magna twice, it is a beautiful hotel and they treat you like royalty.

I will be going back in May. The first time i went i didnt even make out to the beach!!! Wilma hit while i was there and we were taken out!! I dont know how the beach was pre-wilma so i wont be able to compare...
