Has anyone got any tips for holidays to RIU Cancun? Renewing wedding vows there late July 2007. Where are the best places to visit with a 13 year old? Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hi R0nr0n,
Click on to Cancun Attractions on the left hand side of the screen. Theres lots of trips in this section and you can read other peoples reviews on there trips.
Some tips are
The pirate dinner cruise
Isla Mujeres and hire a golf cart to tour the island.
Wet and wild water park
The jungle tour, which is a speed boat and snorkelling
Have fun using this forum and by the time you go you will know all you need to know.

First of all congratulations. What a great place to renew your vows. I have seen many weddings @ the Riu Cancun and they are beautiful. It is going to be just as beautiful when you renew as well.
U will love it Ronron
Got married there last year - u getting ur vows renewed in the gazebo????
Ur 13 year old will love the pirate cruise - we did this last year and its really funny and well worth the money

ROnrOn, you already received some good attractions to see. Also, there is Xcaret (but this does take most of a day, or the entire day as there used to be a tour to get back around 6 p.m. and then one to get back around 11 p.m., but with the later return, you get to see the SHOWS).
Try this website (and it has nothing to do with me) for other ideas. Many people wait uttil they get to Cancun to sign up for excursions, either with your tour company or at the MALLS, etc.
Remember, don't try to do too many things as you may want to relax.
I was at the Riu Cancun about 6 weeks ago. Enjoy the food, etc. there.
It may take around 20 minutes to get to Wet and Wild. Check to see if the public bus goes there.
