Thank you so much Cunspin for your offer! I will be at the Riu Cancun, just 2 of us. What time do you recommend for the best experience? I have heard it is good to go a little early and have drinks and watch the sunset. You can put the name under "Benjamin"

You are going to have a wonderful evening! We were there on Jan. 22 for our 25th anniversary with my sister and her hubby.

We had a great table overlooking the lagoon. The food was amazing - and the desserts were out of this world!!

Tregara is a very unique lounge - enjoy your drinks and the sunset - I can't think of anywhere else to spend your birthday in Cancun that would be as nice.

I have been absolutely inundated with family & personal things since returning from Cancun. My reviews are sadly much delayed. Could not let this thread go by without saying of Laguna Grill, Cunspin, & all connected with this fine establishment:

Have a splendid time.... it will be difficult to remember that there are indeed other patrons in the restaurant with you - the service is so elegant & personalized :-}

The decor, atmosphere, and views are beautiful, even after dark. It can be a wonderful, intimate evening, for that couple celebrating something special.... ;-}

The menu is exclusive, yet unpretentious.... I am sure you will find things that are of interest, and to your satisfaction, including signature deserts!

Thanks so much! Do I just show up at that time and give my reservation number? I am so excited! I know it is on the lagoon side, but which resort is it right across from? What would be your "dream meal" from appetizers and drinks, to ,main course and desert?

You will have an awesome birthday there, I should know, I took my girlfriend to Laguna Grill for her's and we loved it. Unfortunately we couldn't be there early enough to enjoy the sunset at their Tragara Bar. It was a working vacation and we had too many appointments, so it was a late dinner for us. Next time we will make it a point to make it for drinks at sunset. Nonetheless it was fantastic, perfectly prepared seafood, the service was tops and the interior is only the most spectacular and beautifully designed in Cancun.
