Does anyone have the scoop on whether the Gene Byron Museum is still open to the public? When I first visited it there was a guide and the door was open to the public. the last three times I have visited(usually to show it to newcomers),there were classes going on which is great, but I had the feeling they were not expecting outsiders. After I made myself known a nice young woman stopped what she was doing and showed me around. I got the feeling that the fact it was open to the public was very low profile. It was funny because there was a nice exhibit upstairs of black and white photography. These exhibits seem to be ongoing but I don't know how they advertise them. Am I the only one still bringing people there? Is the restaurant next door still so good?
